We’re excited to be part of this year’s Muriwai Open Studios trail, with The Shala transforming into a vibrant studio space for the weekend! Step into our venue and discover an inspiring showcase of works by talented local artists—part of a wider collective of more than twenty creatives across the region.
From painting and photography to ceramics, sculpture, jewellery, textile art, and even rusticology—you’ll find a diverse range of artistry on display, right here in the heart of Muriwai.

We’re one of several fantastic venues this year, including the Open Studios, Good From Scratch Cookery School, Muriwai Lodge, and Kumeu Art Centre Each offers a unique window into the creative spirit of our community.
