Cleanse • Release • Renew
Step away from the busyness of everyday life and dedicate a day to cleansing, renewal and reconnection.
Our Spring Reset Ayurvedic Day Retreat brings together the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda with cleansing Yoga, Panchakarma teachings, nourishing seasonal food, Qigong and conscious breathwork for somatic emotional release.
In Ayurveda, Spring is traditionally considered one of the most beneficial times of year to cleanse. After the slower, heavier qualities of Winter, this seasonal transition invites us to stimulate digestion and circulation, clear accumulated stagnation and create space for fresh energy and new beginnings.
We begin the day with a cleansing Yoga practice, using mindful movement and breath to awaken the body, support circulation and digestion, and encourage the release of physical and energetic stagnation.
Following an Ayurvedic welcome drink, we explore the principles of Ayurvedic Spring cleansing. You will learn about your individual constitution, Agni or digestive fire, the accumulation of Ama or metabolic waste, and simple seasonal practices you can incorporate into your everyday life.
We will also introduce Panchakarma, Ayurveda’s traditional system of deep cleansing and rejuvenation. You will gain an understanding of how Panchakarma works and experience some of the principles that underpin this profound approach to cleansing and renewal.
At lunchtime, enjoy a freshly prepared plant based Ayurvedic meal, created with seasonal ingredients and digestive spices. More than simply nourishing the body, the meal offers an opportunity to experience Ayurvedic food principles and the importance of how, when and what we eat.
In the afternoon, we turn our attention towards emotional cleansing and release. Gentle Qigong helps move energy through the body and prepares us for guided conscious breathwork for somatic emotional release. Through breath, movement and awareness, we create an opportunity to connect more deeply with ourselves, release held tension and emotions, and create space within.
We close the retreat with time for reflection and integration, allowing the experiences of the day to settle and considering what we would like to carry forward into the new season.
This retreat is an invitation to experience cleansing in its many forms: through movement, Ayurvedic wisdom, nourishing food, breath, emotional release, connection and stillness.
A day to cleanse. A day to release. A day to renew.
